Delivery & Shipping

Delivery dates are estimated dates only, and unless otherwise specified are figured from the day of receipt of order or date of receipt of technical information or approved drawings. The latest date applies.

L&W shall not be held liable for delays of carriers, delays for labor stoppage, difficulties, shortages, or strikes, nor shall L&W be held liable for fires, accidents, failure or delay in obtaining materials, acts of government, weather, or any causes beyond our control.

Unless otherwise specified in writing, materials will be packaged as L&W deems proper for protection against normal handling. There will be a charge for any special requests for additional packaging or handling.

Routing will be at our discretion unless otherwise specified by customer in writing. All shipments are FOB our plant, delivery of goods to the initial carrier will constitute delivery to you and all goods will be shipped at your risk. A claim for loss or damage in transit must be entered with the carrier and prosecuted by you.
